A man charged by police for breaking into a church and the pastor’s residence will appear in the Nasinu Magistrates Court today.

The man, in his 20s, had allegedly broken into the church and the clergy’s residence in Nakasi on March 28 and made out with electronic items, power tools, and personal belongings.

He has been charged with one count of sacrilege, two counts of theft, and two counts of burglary.

Police said investigators had managed to recover some of the stolen items.
