The Fiji Roads Authority (FRA) has appointed Vilive Tuatoko Anise as Head of Technical Support.

Mr Anise holds a Masters in Engineering Science from the University of Southern Queensland, Australia.

According to the FRA, he has 13 years of extensive experience in construction management and supervision, design, civil and structural, geotechnical investigation, tender documentation, quality assurance and quality control.

He started his journey in the infrastructure industry as a civil engineering technician and progressed into senior roles given his capabilities.

FRA chief executive officer Kamal Prasad said Mr Anise had the appropriate experience, skills and knowledge to head the technical support team.

“His addition to the team will allow FRA to deliver services economically and efficiently,” Mr Prasad said.

He said the position was advertised internally and externally in line with FRA’s recruitment policy process.

The selection of the successful candidate was recommended by a three-member interview panel, comprising FRA Board Member, FRA CEO and the Deputy Secretary from the Ministry of Infrastructure and Meteorological Services.
