Fijian Police have in their custody a man in his 40s who allegedly stabbed a manager of a fishing vessel inside a vehicle outside a supermarket in Suva last night.

Police spokesperson Ana Naisoro says the suspect is a crew member of the fishing vessel, and he allegedly stabbed the victim with a kitchen knife.

“The victim is admitted at the Colonial War Memorial Hospital,” Ms Naisoro said.

Investigations are continuing.
