The Office of the Auditor-General is auditing the 2017 annual report of the Tavua Town Council at present.

Assistant Auditor-General Moshin Ali noted this to the Standing Committee Public Accounts last Thursday while the council made its submission on its 2018-2019 Audit-Report.

Tavua Town Council CEO Sailosi Sawana had told the committee that it had submitted its 2019 report to the OAG and were now working on its 2020 report.

Mr Ali said the audit process for the 2018 and 2019 was scheduled to be done in July this year.

The audit process for the 2020 and 2021 annual reports would follow after, he added.
