Fijian Police have charged an 18-year-old teenager for allegedly making up information that she was abducted by unknown men in Lautoka last week.

The young girl who resides in Matawalu, Lautoka, has been charged with one count of giving false information to a public servant.

Police said the two other suspects were also being questioned along the same lines of giving false information.

The teenager will be produced at the Lautoka Magistrates Court today.

Police investigations are continuing.
