Update: 7:23PM PRIME Minister Voreqe Bainimarama today met the senior executives of the Methodist Church in Fiji, led by church president Reverend Tevita Banivanua.
A Government statement issued this afternoon said the meeting provided an opportunity for the heads of Government and the church to discuss various issues pertaining to development.
It said they also discussed how Government and the church could work together to improve the lives of ordinary Fijians.
Reverend Bainivanua was accompanied by Church general secretary Reverend Epineri Vakadewavosa and deputy general secretary Reverand Ili Vunisawai.
