Update: 7:48PM A TROUGH of low pressure lies to the north of Fiji and is expected to drift South and affect the group from later tomorrow until Tuesday.

The forecast to midnight tomorrow by the National Weather Forecasting Centre in Nadi is cloudy periods with some showers over the eastern parts and interior of the larger islands.

Elsewhere is a forecast for fine weather apart from afternoon or evening showers, moderate to fresh Southeast winds, gusty at times.

Also in its bulletin issued at 7.30pm, the weather office reiterated the strong wind warning that remained in force for all Fiji waters.
