Update: 1:11PM FIJIAN President Jioji Konrote believes there should be no confusion whatsoever about why men should advocate on women’s right to a life free of discrimination and violence.

He reasoned women’s issues were not only limited to women saying those issues were first and foremost human rights issues.

“They (women’s issues) are family issues. They are religious issues. They are business issues. They are societal issues. And they are a nation’s issues,” Mr Konrote said while addressing members of the public at the Man Up Campaign launch in Suva yesterday.
