The 3rd Annual Construction Industry Council (CIC) conference scheduled for June this year has been postponed in light of the global COVID-19 pandemic situation in the country.

The conference was marked to be held on June 25-27 at the Pullman Resort in Nadi.

CIC president Gordon Jenkins said the delay was in keeping with the Government directives toward isolating the pandemic.

“Since we are expecting close to 350 delegates, it would pose a major threat to those attending,” Mr Jenkins said.

“We hope to reschedule the conference towards the end of the year and will keep those interested in attending informed of developments.”
