Four people are fortunate to have escaped serious injuries after the vehicle they were traveling in veered off the road at Veisari outside Lami yesterday afternoon.
Police spokesperson Ana Naisoro said the four included a 35-year-old driver, a 30-year-old woman, and two young children.
She said the driver allegedly tried to avoid another accident with an oncoming vehicle resulting in their vehicle crashing into a BBQ stall by the road.
She added that the driver and two young children were treated and sent home, while the woman was still admitted at the CWM hospital.
