Officers with the Fiji Police Force has for the past week been delivering letters of appreciation to every individual, group and business houses that supported efforts of officers manning checkpoints during the lockdown in Lautoka and Suva, and curfew checkpoints.

Police said the support during the COVID-19 and STC Harold operations was overwhelming.

It said letters of appreciation were being hand-delivered to all those who had assisted policing efforts.

“We are still trying to get to everyone and to those who we may not get to, vinaka vakalevu, sukria, bahoot dhanyavaad, fai’aksea and thank you,” Police said.
