Fiji’s Ministry of Education, Heritage and Arts has appointed an Acting Principal for all-boys Ratu Kadavulevu School (RKS).
The ministry confirmed the appointment was made yesterday.
According to a Government statement issued this morning, the appointment was made through an Expression of Interest and the acting head of school will report to RKS on Monday next week (October 5, 2020).
The ministry made no further comments except to wish the acting head of school well for the remainder of the 2020 academic year.
The Tailevu-based school has been under the spotlight recently following a protest staged by a group of students that resulted in the one-week closure of the school.
