Two teenage brothers were produced at the Nasinu Magistrates Court yesterday for their alleged involvement in a series of burglaries and thefts in the Narere area.
Police said the 19-year-old allegedly broke into a home along Marita Street, Narere, where he stole a television and assorted items.
Nasinu Police managed to recover the alleged stolen items and the accused was charged with burglary and theft.
His 18-year-old brother was also charged for a similar offence for alleged theft of shoes from homes located on Mana Road and Omkar Road.
Police said investigators managed to arrest the accused and recovered the alleged stolen items.
He was also charged with burglary and theft.
Police said the two were produced at the Nasinu Magistrates Court yesterday and remanded in Police custody because they are alleged to be involved in other burglary and theft cases that are still under investigation.
The brothers will be produced again in court on July 23.
