Autumn Tests

THE Flying Fijians will play Ireland, Scotland and Wales in the 2024 Autumn Nations Series.

The fixtures and dates of the series were released last month confirming Fiji’s international matches against the three Six Nations teams in November.

Fiji joins New Zealand, Australia, Argentina and South Africa from the Southern Hemisphere.

Fiji is scheduled to meet Scotland first on November 3 at the Scottish Gas Murrayfield Stadium in Edinburgh.

A week later, the Flying Fijians will face rivals Wales on November 11 at the Principality Stadium in Cardiff.

They round up the year with a massive test against world number two, Ireland on November 24 at Aviva Stadium in Dublin.

This means that the Flying Fijians will have a full-on fixture of matches beginning June 23 with a tour match against the Barbarians.

“All test matches are confirmed, we are still sorting out the details and we will better inform you of the processes by next week,” Fiji Rugby Union administrator Simi Valenitabua stated.

On July 6 and 20, Mick Byrne’s team will face Georgia and the New Zealand All Blacks at Adjarabet Arena in Batumi, and California’s Snapdragon Stadium respectively.

Their Pacific Nations engagement begins on August 23 against Samoa, September 6 against Tonga and will stay on until September 21 if they make the final.

“We will end the year with the European Tour. We had to move fast to appoint a coach and he is working with general manager high performance unit Barrie Jon-Mather. We will be able to release the specifics on these Tests in the coming weeks,” Valenitabua added.
