“Ubayd Haider should get in line if he wants to fight me,” says Fiji Featherweight champion Junior Binnu Singh when asked about Haider issuing a challenge against him.
Singh added another successful fight to his record, defending the featherweight title against Zulfikaar Zeraan Ali in round six on RSC (Referee stops the contest) during Saturday night’s Bluewater Boxing Promotion.
The 23-year-old has listed his priorities and Haider who was formerly known as Nathan Singh, is not one of them.
“For now, I am focusing on my international titles, I have three to four lined up and maybe after that if he wants to fight me than I’ll be ready,” Singh said.
“He must come in line, I got international titles lined up for this year so, he will get his chance.”
His next task will be against an international opponent in Sigatoka.
“My next fight is at Lawaqa Park in August against Zain Adams for a New Zealand regional title.”
The Navosa lad thanked his fans for turning up in numbers to support him against Ali, an opponent he described as a good fighter.
