The FIJI Water Flying Fijians are expecting a sea of noble banner blue at Snapdragon Stadium this afternoon when they take on the All Blacks in their second international Test.
While the match will kick off at 2.30pm Fiji time, it will be a 7.30pm match in the American city of California.
Located on the campus of San Diego State University, Snapdragon Stadium has a capacity of 35,000.
“I think it will be quite a loud crowd in our favour,” coach Mick Byrne said.
While the Test is being held on neutral ground, Byrne said from their experience while travelling, Fiji fans would turn up at any location to support the national team.
“I think there will be a lot of Fijians travelling here and we are expecting it’s going to be a great night (afternoon) and we are expecting to look around the crowd and see our blue flags waving.
“Our best fans around the world will turn up and make their presence felt with the loud noise they’ll make,” Byrne added.
The final release of tickets for the Test went on sale two months ago with the initial release selling strongly.
The two Pacific nations are expected to draw rugby fans from all over America with an electric, attacking brand of rugby.
This is poised to help continue to grow and develop rugby within the United States.
