The Fiji men’s side made it two wins in two matches at the Oceania 7s on day one.

After defeating Australia 26-14 in their opening match, Fiji beat Oceania 32-12 in the second match.

Joshua Vakurunabili scored the to give Fiji a 5-nil lead.

Oceania replied with a converted try to take a 7-5 lead before Waisea Nacuqu scored to give Fiji a 10-7 lead at halftime.

Isoa Tabu was sin binned early in the second spell however, Nacuqu grabbed a second while Meli Derenalagi, Napolioni  Bolaca and Kitione Taliga scored a try for a comfortable win in the end.
