Former Fiji Airways men’s 7s coach Ben Ryan has praised coach Osea Kolinisau for the changes made in the national squad.
Ryan, who watched the Singapore tournament from London, England said the team had improved.
“Watched the mighty Fiji play in Singapore back here in London and saw a tonne of good things,” Ryan said.
He also praised Kolinisau and said he had faith in his former captain.
“Been a baptism of fire for Osea but he is one of life’s winners and he’s going to do incredible things for Fiji.”
He added he would be in Fiji next month.
The Fiji men’s 7s team has been drawn into a tough pool for the upcoming Madrid 7s tournament.
They are in Pool B with New Zealand, Ireland, and South Africa.
The Fiji Airways Fijiana 7s side will be in Pool B with Australia, France, and Ireland.
The Madrid 7s will feature only eight teams and will be held from May 31- June 2.
