Update: 5:00PM THE Commissioner Western’s office has been given an allocation of $5 million – an increase of $2.4 million from the 2015 budget.

Finance Minister Aiyaz Sayed-Khaiyum said the increase would
fund divisional development projects including the $480,000 for the
second phase of construction work of the Korolevu district office in Sigatoka,
$958,000 for the construction of the Votualevu Health Centre and $500,000 for
preparation work for divisional projects.

He said a
sum of $1.2 million has been provided for the relocation of the Nacula Health
Centre.
