Update: 4:10PM NADI-based Animals Fiji has been able to find a more permanent location to set up its animal health clinic and shelter.
Co-founder Casey Quimby said the organisation’s new location will be in Nasoso.
She said a deposit on the two pieces of land was acquired through various fundraisers held over the past year.
The clinic will be closed until February 28 when it reopens at the new location on Koroniqava Road.
The charity group was issued a notice to vacate their previous property in 2014 and was based temporarily in Namaka.
