MAINTAINING connectivity between the tourist and the outside world while they enjoy a holiday in Fiji is one of the main focuses of Digicel Fiji Ltd as it continues to make a mark in Fiji’s tourism industry.

The mobile network giant has been able to offer dedicated internet services to 48 hotel properties in the country.

Digicel Fiji Ltd sales director Sam Baillieu said the resorts relied heavily on the quality of services that the company offered.

“We’ve got a really strong history with other properties here in Fiji and we provide a lot of their guests internet services or high speed internet services and we have a list of 48 properties in Fiji,” he said.

“We also provide mobile voice and data services for them and we have a couple of the major properties that use over 200 handsets that have been deployed to them which utilise the latest host of services that we provide.”

He said the network also provided disaster recovery and management services.
