Update: 10:17PM GOVERNMENT has eliminated departure tax for visitors who stay in Fiji for less than 72 hours.

Attorney-Generla and Finance Minister Aiyaz Sayed-Khaiyum said Government needed to be creative to attract more people into Fiji without compromising our quality and standards.

“One way is to eliminate the departure tax for visitors who stay in Fiji for less than 72 hours,” he said.
