COPE general secretary Govind Singh said the regional body
would be presenting its report in Kathmandu, Nepal, in October.

He said a similar report would be presented at another
regional meeting in Nadi next year.

“There will be a Commonwealth Minister�s meeting will be
held here in February, 2018, when each line minister is expected to submit
their reports,” he said.

“We will also be running a similar meeting with teacher
organisations parallel to the minister’s meeting where we will also be expected
to give our reports.”

“There are a lot of preparations happening for these larger
meetings to ensure that these global goals are being met.”
