RETURNEES to Sofitel Resort and Spa on Denarau Island have provided a constant boost for the resort’s occupancy rates.

Resort general manager Alan Burrows says the frequent visitors were equally important as new guests.

He said returnees’ reviews of the resort have allowed the enticement of new guests.

Waitui Beach Club manager Irfaan Khan said returnees made up a large number of club members.

“A handful of our returnees come to the resort almost every month and they are members who make full use of the club and our services,” he said.

“Our returnees are very important to us and we value their contribution.

“We like to ensure that their experience each time they come to the resort and the club is different and better than the last time they visited us.”

The resort celebrated the club’s second birthday earlier this month.
