FIJI rugby sevens star Amenoni Nasilasila appeared today before the Sigatoka Magistrates Court charged with the rape of a 23-year-old woman in Olosara, Sigatoka, last weekend.

Magistrate Jeremaia Savou deferred to the matter to December 31 for a decision on the national rep’s application for bail.

Mr Nasilasila was arrested and charged after the incident was reported to police by the victim.
