A 37-YEAR-old man is the latest road victim after dying from injuries sustained in a car accident last month.

According to Police, the man was hit by a vehicle driven by a 40-year-old woman along Tavakubu on June 28.

The man was admitted at the Lautoka hospital’s Intensive Care Unit before his death this morning.

A post mortem examination will be carried out later this week.

The national road death toll stands at 25 compared to 32 for the same period last month.
