Issues faced by the tourism and business sectors were raised during the second day of Budget consultations in Lautoka today.
Hosted by the Ministry of Economy, the consultation attracted stakeholders from the two sectors who were eager to share the challenges they were facing over the past few months.
Minister for Economy Aiyaz Sayed-Khaiyum explained that more than 200 submissions have been made to the ministry.
Mr Sayed-Khaiyum is accompanied by Minister for Tourism Faiyaz Koya, Acting Health permanent secretary Dr James Fong and permanent secretary for Economy Makereta Konrote.
A second public consultation is expected to be held in Ba today.
