The Fiji Police Force has issued a stern warning to those caught breaching curfew regulations.

Acting Commissioner of Police Rusiate Tudravu said there would be more visibility in terms of their manpower on the ground.

“We totally support the Ministry of Health in its efforts to contain the virus and stop further community transmission,” said Mr Tudravu.

Mr Tudravu warned people to refrain from moving around even within their containment areas or their places of residence. “We will be coming down very hard now.”

Mr Tudravu said those who did not heed the warning would be taken to task.
