AJ Pallets Ba River is out of the cup competition of the under 21 category for the Fiji Bitter Wairiki 7s.

This after they were defeated 12-5 by competition underdogs Aloha Taveuni 1 in the cup quarter final.

Meanwhile, the only rugby team from Labasa in the tournament, Northern Sharks, is marching on to the cup semi final after they defeated Raiwasa Taveuni 10-0.

Village Boys defeated Qeleni Young Boys 12-5 and Aloha Taveuni 2 won over Vuna Brothers 12-0.

The cup semi finals for the U21 category will kick off at 12.30 pm.
