Indian traditional wear retailer Shriji Ltd has opened its fourth outlet in Labasa.
Established in 2006, the popular retailer of Indian traditional fashion, bridal wear and jewelry, is steadily growing its presence across Fiji.
Responding to customer demand and feedback, company director Nilesh Patel made the strategic decision to open another branch at the Damodar Complex in Labasa.
“It was only natural for us to expand our presence to Labasa,” he said.
The Labasa branch, Mr Patel said represented a significant investment for Shriji, with close to $3.5million allocated towards its establishment.
“We are excited to bring our wide range of variety and pooja items closer to the people of Labasa, offering them convenience and access to quality products,” he said.
In addition to contributing to the local economy, he said the branch had created employment opportunities for at least 15 individuals.
“All of whom are residents of Labasa, further demonstrating the company’s commitment to supporting local communities,” he said.
“We are proud to have employed local talent from Labasa, empowering individuals and families in the region.”
The successful launch of the Labasa branch has already generated excitement among customers.
With such positive feedback, he revealed that discussions are already in progress for the possibility of opening additional outlets to better serve their expanding customer base.
