The Nasinu 10s rugby team is prepared for the upcoming Nausori Rugby 10s tournament with high spirits and determination.
With 32 confirmed teams confirmed to far, the competition is expected to be tough, but the coach and players are ready for battle.
According to coach Meli Wara, most of the players are currently participating in the Fiji Bitter 7s Series, which has helped them maintain their fitness levels.
However, the team is focused on their gym work to further improve their strength and conditioning.
“Despite the challenges of the weather, the team is preparing very well for the tournament, they are putting in a lot of hard work in the gym and are committed to honing their skills to ensure they are in peak condition for the competition,” said Wara.
“The team is comprised mostly of young players, and we are dedicated to grooming them and promoting the club to regain its previous stature in the rugby community this year,” he added.
The tournament is expected to be tough, but the Nasinu 10s team is ready to showcase their talent and compete at a high level.
The Nausori Rugby 10s tournament will be held at Ratu Cakobau Park in Nausori on February 2-3.
