Sixteen-year-old Tavaita Dikoli Tikoisuva, the youngest player on the Rewa women’s football team, showcased her unstoppable talent by scoring five goals in the first match against Suva at the
Digicel Fiji Women’s Inter-District Championship at the Fiji FA Academy grounds earlier this week.
The Vunimono High School year 11 student expressed her gratitude for the opportunity to shine on the field and make her coach proud.
“Scoring five goals was such an honour to make my coach proud and achieve what I set out to do,” said Tikoisuva.
“The match against Suva was a tough one, but thanks to our strong team bonding and familiarity with each other, we were able to put on a great performance.
“We have been training and playing together for a long time, from the premier league to now the IDC, and all that hard work really paid off.
Tavaita was thrilled to achieve this feat and is already looking ahead to their next match against Ba.
