THE Army Green side has been diligently working on their defense strategies in preparation for the FMF Suva Rugby Escott Shield semi-final clash this weekend.

With the opponent to be announced today, the team is ready to face any team that comes their way.

Joining them in the semi-finals are defending champions Stop Cyber Bullying Police Blue, Fresh’et Navy, and FA & CO Eastern Saints, who have all secured their spots in the next round of the competition.

Army Green’s head coach, Usa Mataki, expressed confidence in the team’s preparation for the upcoming semi-final match.

“The team has been preparing well the boys are fit and without any injuries,” said Mataki.

Reflecting on their quarter-final performance against Lakeba, Mataki acknowledged the areas where the team needed to improve.

“We made a lot of mistakes in our match against Lakeba, they gave us a good match-up, but we have been working on our mistakes and defense, scrums, and our kicking strategies because it won’t be an easy task in the semi-final, the boys are looking forward for it.”

The FMF Suva Rugby Escott Shield semi-final is scheduled to take place tomorrow.
