A 45-year-old man is being charged with multiple counts of Sexual Assault in Suva.

Guy Morris, who appeared at the Suva Magistrates Court is charged with multiple counts of sexual assault.

According to police, the charges stem from allegations that the man sexually assaulted three girls aged 13, 14, and 16 on ten separate occasions between February of last year and March of this year.

The accused was reportedly the girls’ sports coach, and the alleged incidents are said to have occurred during training sessions in Suva.

The Fiji Police Force has stated its intention to pursue cases targeting vulnerable members of the community vigorously.

“We urge all parents to exercise vigilance when sending their children to training or other activities,” said a police spokesperson.

“It is essential for young people to feel empowered to report any uncomfortable matters immediately.”
