TEN things I love about you!

This was a list Wayne Perry gave the love of his life, Jasmin Blick, before he could go down on his knees to pop the question, she was his — hook, line and sinker.

That proposal led the Australian couple to Fiji where they tied the knot at Warwick Fiji in a ceremony they both describe as magical.

Sometimes the location of a wedding is magic itself. Warwick Fiji has been a pioneer in wedding tourism and there have been many weddings at the resort.

On September 3, Jasmin and Wayne after five years of being in a relationship, took vows to spend the rest of their days with each other. And to ensure that they make this occasion one to cherish, the couple picked Warwick Fiji to spark the magic for them.

Jasmin and Wayne are from Queensland, Australia and their story started at work.

“We met at work five years ago and had a connection straightaway. Before we knew it, our work relationship grew into friendship and our friendship grew into love,” the couple said.

Wayne made sure his marriage proposal was not just him getting down on his knees but something Jasmin would cherish.

“Two years ago, Wayne took me for a picnic on a secluded beach at Bribie Island in Queensland,” said Jasmin, describing the day.

“After spending a beautiful morning together beside the ocean, he presented me with a gift of red roses and a list of “10 things I love about you”. He then got down on one knee with a ring in his hand and wrote ‘will you marry me?’ in the sand.”

That was two years ago and the biggest task faced by the couple was to come up with a wedding that would outdo the proposal.

“We read a lot of great reviews about Warwick Fiji online and it was also recommended to us by friends who had stayed there before,” Jasmin and Wayne said.

“Everything including our arrival, our stay, the wedding and the staff were amazing!

“The ceremony, the setup, location and the view surrounding us was much better than we imagined.

“When we first saw each other, as I walked down the aisle, we felt nothing but complete love and happiness in our hearts. It was truly magical.”

Jasmin and Wayne are back in Australia but the wedding in Fiji has bound them to the country and sure enough they have promised to be back again.

In this case, Jasmin and Wayne’s close family and friends were at Warwick Fiji to bless and celebrate the union.
