A WOMAN was having a conversation with her relatives about her trip to the maritime islands.

The conversation was on Severe Tropical Cyclone Winston and how it had destroyed a village on a particular island.

Beachcomber heard how the woman told her relatives about being billeted at one of the “posh” houses in the village.

The homeowners renovated their three-bedroom house before the cyclone.

The lady told her relatives that it was the “only flush house in the toilet” instead of it being the “only house with flush toilet in the village”.

Her relatives burst out laughing, only to be told by the woman that she was just checking if they were indeed listening to her.

Guess so much of “posh” and “flush” got the woman fumbling.
