CAN authorities improve weather alert communication around Fiji?

Why aren’t TV and mobile phone companies utilised to disseminate information.

This has been a regular occurrence and it’s a wonder our people somehow get by.

Heavy rain in Nadi always results in flooded roads, settlements, homes and schools thus resulting in no school, flooded roads and dirty drinking water.

If this tropical depression turns into a cyclone, can the authorities put backups and advisory immediately and effectively for all Fijians.

We talk so much of climate change and disaster management. Let’s put our resources, hands and feet where our mouths are.
