BURGER King may only be an-year-old in Fiji but the popular hamburger chain is already setting a good trend for customers.

“From serving the world-famous flame-grilled burgers, to redefining the way people expect their breakfast, lunch and dinner to be, the team at BK have already stamped a mark with locals and tourists alike,” Burger King general manager Akash Narsey says.

“The best part is that you don’t have to wait until 10.30am to get your favourite meal — all regular meals are served from the time the restaurants open in the morning at six. Our drive-thru is also open seven-days-a-week until midnight.”

Mr Narsey says his team at Burger King are also leading the industry with the introduction of limited time offers (LTOs) all the time.

“The latest LTO we have is the hot barbecue burger which comes with two variants — the iconic whopper (beef) and chicken burger,” said Mr Narsey.

The hot barbecue whopper comes with beef patty, cheese, layered with fresh lettuce, ripe tomatoes, creamy mayonnaise, smoky barbecue sauce, onions and hot jalapenos on a sesame seeded bun while the hot barbecue chicken burger consists of white chicken meat, layered with fresh lettuce, ripe tomatoes, creamy mayonnaise, smoky barbecue sauce, onions and hot jalapeno on a sesame seeded bun.

“This is what sets Burger King apart from others, we listen to our customers and dare to do things differently and it has now become very obvious that at Burger King, you can have it your way,” Mr Narsey said.

“We are investing in a five-million-dollar freezer and chiller storage facility in Legalega, Nadi specifically designed for Burger King to ensure that the best produce and ingredients are procured, stored and distributed to extend the menu lines and cater the growth of our new restaurants which will open for business this year.”

Meanwhile, in just one year, Burger King has invested about twelve-million-dollars in the Fijian economy and has provided employment opportunities for eighty people with the number expected to grow as the international franchise opens more outlets across the country in coming months and years.
