TO my surprise a very close friend of mine asked me the reason for writing about Fiji from overseas.

I politely answered that not only me, but there are so many contributing from New Zealand, Australia, Canada, the US, etc.

I believe that we all may have one thing in common and that is “we belong to Fiji no matter where we are”.

As far as I am concerned, I was born in Fiji, I am a Fiji citizen and a permanent resident (PR) of Serua Province. I will be back to my sweet home soon. Until then thank you The Fiji Times for giving us a bit of space whenever we need it.
