WESTS Tigers have tabled a massive offer for Bulldogs cult hero Josh Reynolds, according to a report.
Channel 7 rugby league reporter Josh Massoud has reported the Bulldogs have approached Reynolds with an offer worth twice the total contract offer the Dogs have put in front of Reynolds’ management.
Seven reported Ivan Cleary has identified his first recruitment target, armed with a massive war chest following the departures of stars Aaron Woods, James Tedesco and Mitchell Moses.
The report states the Tigers have offered Reynolds $3 million over four years, blowing the Dogs’ offer of $1.5 million over three years out of the water.
According to reports the Bulldogs have signed stars Woods and Kieran Foran for the 2018 season, forcing the club to create some space in their salary cap for next year.
Reynolds is off-contract at the end of this season while playmaker Moses Mbye, hooker Michael Lichaa and fullback Will Hopoate have all been linked with potential moves away from Belmore.
