A not so regular contributor of Sacramento believes that no poll is needed to measure or monitor the performance of our A-G, as according to him our A-G is doing alright (FT 16/08).

Fair enough, he may be correct and his views ought to be respected.

I, however, do not wish to be “dictated” on which newspaper to read by someone who Dharam Lingam assumes to be carrying out a splendid job.

That would grossly violate my democratic right. I am sure thousands of like-minded citizens would agree.

And as for someone residing thousands of miles away and not knowing the ground reality in Fiji, I would suggest Mr Lingam to refrain from meddling into our domestic affairs but rather worry about that maniac from North Korea vehemently threatening to annihilate his adopted home land.

And as for that poll, why not?

Let the people decide.
