TWO Kadavu under-14 Kaji Rugby players will be joining the Suva Kaji Rugby U14 tour to Australia and New Zealand.
The tour will mark a Suva Kaji Rugby decade old tradition of sending off their Year 8 players before they leave for their respective secondary schools.
Suva Kaji Rugby president Michael Koroi said they had given their coaching staff a preference of who they wanted to tour with them but the last say would come from the Kadavu coaching staff.
“We have also invited two players from the Kadavu U14 grade team. We played them in the final and they gave us a scare and we thought since their boys played so well we have discussed things with their coach and they will choose two of their best players,” Koroi said.
And he added that “Because we don’t really know the boys so their coaches will choose and send their names to us.”
The team is expected to leave Fiji on November 26.
