Situation: A trough of low pressure continues to approach the group

from the west. Associated cloud and showers are expected to affect

the country till later Sunday. 

Forecast to midnight tonight for the Fiji group:

Occasional showers over Kadavu and Southern Lau group. Elsewhere,

cloudy periods with some showers.

Isolated thunderstorms and heavy falls likely.

Moderate to fresh easterly winds. 

Moderate to rough seas.

Outlook for Saturday   : Occasional showers with possible isolated

thunderstorms and heavy falls over most places.

For Navua / Suva / Nausori :

Occasional showers, heavy at times.

Outlook for Saturday   : Occasional showers with possible isolated

thunderstorms and heavy falls.

For Nadi / Lautoka / Ba :

Some showers especially in the afternoon or evening. 

Outlook for Saturday   : Occasional showers with isolated

thunderstorms and heavy falls.

For Labasa :

Cloudy periods with isolated afternoon or evening showers.
