These players who played for the Fiji 7s Legends two weeks ago are still up to par if you catch the drift. The likes of Sireli Bobo, William Ryder, I have to say that they should be considered for national duties again, at least for the Commonwealth Games coming up next year and also the World Cup 7s next year as well.

These guys have been playing and keeping themselves in good condition, like Ryder and Bobo. Take for instance Ryder, he has been in the 7s game for over a year now and we have seen him playing the 7s game with almost if not better than ever before. His fitness is there and the moves still in order with a bit more weight on him which makes him stronger than ever.

To our selectors please take a closer look at the guy and some of those players who would make a difference on the field even bring back the glory. We sure need some fire back in the now 7s squad after losing our captain Osea Kolinisau and most of the guys who brought gold for Fiji at the Olympics in 2016.

We have so much talent in 7s, but we still need leaders to pave the way for these new players.

So let’s be more open minded and bring some good leadership people like Katonibau and twinkle toes Ryder, Bobo and the likes. I have to congratulate our new Bauan bullet in the team Banuve. Keep it going lad you rock in the game. Toso Viti. God bless.
