Update: 4:12PM A LOT of thought was put into the proposed minimum wage rate before it was revealed at the Fiji Trades Union Congress biennial conference on Saturday, says FTUC treasurer Agni Deo Singh.

Mr Singh said small employers highlighted their concerns and it was taken into consideration.

The FTUC believes the proposed wage rate of $4 an hour is affordable and would be a good start if approved.
