TV sales

THERE is an increase in the sale of television sets at Courts Suva branch ahead of the Paris 7s this weekend.

This was confirmed yesterday by the retail manager Benjamin Mohammed.

“We have noted an increase in the sale of televisions over the last couple of days,” he said.

“People from the urban, rural and outer islands had been buying.”

He also said they had run out on a certain model of television set because of its high demand.

“We are expecting more sales in the coming days as people want to watch rugby,” he said.

Fiji 7s jersey ‘hot cake’

THE authorised seller of the Fiji Rugby merchandise BLK (Beyond Limits Known) reveals they are running out of Fiji 7s jersey.

There are four shops in the country in Suva, Lautoka, Labasa and Kinoya.

BLK sales manager retail Jese Gade said they had already sold 800 jerseys in the last one month.

“It is really going fast. All our shops have sold 800 jerseys. We had earlier ran out of materials and there was also a delay and we lost number of customers as well.

“The jersey is in big demand. It is because our Fiji 7s team is doing really great and that is the reason for the increase in the sales.”

Gade said people from overseas also buy the jerseys.

“There are a lot of people from overseas who are interested in the jersey. We are also selling the jersey at $165 each and we are telling the people if they want to buy then they should hurry up.”
