Some have suggested a national holiday to mark the sevens success. I find the idea absurd.

The series win was part of Rio preparations. The real deal will be Rio, a one-off battle for first place unlike the series where our boys did well over 10 tourneys.

Rio will not be like, doing very well, then being pipped at the hooter by an underdog.

We shall celebrate after that big one. The sevens series will start for yet another season in Dubai, and we will win that one too. But celebrate we will, Rio gold.
