A brother (from the same church) is struggling like most of us to sell his car privately without trading it in.
He wants to buy a bigger, family wagon but the price is too high and the dealer is offering too little for his Fielder.
This brother is afraid the price (duty, etc) will go up in the new budget next week so he is now rushing to quickly offload his car and plunge into a debt for a bigger car before the prices increase.
Now, don’t be mistaken; this is pure speculation! The prices may well go down in the new budget.
But then this brother may just take the risk and trade his car for a cheap and already bloated priced Alphard, which may become unaffordable soon.
But this is guessing only. I hope something good is cooking at the Finance Ministry.
