THE Ratu Navula Secondary School under-19 are preparing for a tough match against Ratu Kadavulevu School in the semi-finals of the Fiji Secondary School Rugby Union Deans Trophy competition this weekend in Sigatoka.

They are Ratu Navula’s lone representatives in the semi-finals.

School principal Setareki Merekula said the players knew the game would be difficult.

“We will be taking on RKS who defeated us in the U18 grade and judging by the game structure in the quarters, it will be another tough game for us. We know that schools from the Eastern Zone are really strong competitors,” he said.

He said some of the players were injured from their quarter-final against Lomaivuna Secondary School last week.

“We will give RKS a good run for their money. We have a few players who are injured, hopefully they will be declared fit before the game on Saturday,” he said.

The Coke Zero Deans semi-finals will be at Lawaqa Park.
