Update: 1:34PM THE President, Jioji Konrote has reminded dental practitioners that they have a fundamental obligation and a critical role in promoting good oral health and ensuring that it is maintained by people.

“As a front line and professional group, whether you are a civil servant, a private general practitioner, a staff of the dental school or even a retired officer, you still all have a lot to contribute to the nation,” he told them.

“In doing so, you will complement Government’s efforts to improve the health and wellbeing of your fellow Fijians.”

Mr Konrote was speaking at the Fiji Dental Association’s 40th annual conference at the Pearl Resort in Pacific Harbour last night.
