Shalwyn Prasad of Mukta Ben in The Fiji Times 18/0 has written that since the gold victory in Rio, a lot of speculation is floating about Ben Ryan’s coaching.

Ben Ryan, in his earlier statement, has made it clear that he will step down after the Rio Olympic Games.

His contract is nearing its end.

A person with clear vision and determination, he has brought Fiji sevens to where the team stands today.

Fiji sevens team has achieved a lot under Ben Ryan’s coaching.

He is a coach who proved his contract fruitful and worthy to the country.

Reading through FBC’s poll question and answers over the past couple of weeks in regards to the Rio Olympic Games, I noticed a number of writers wrote negative comments in respect of Fiji’s overall performance.

However, the Fiji team has brought one gold medal for its win.

Ben Ryan holds vast experience in his rugby carrier.

He has contributed so much for the country.

He proved to our country and the people that his contract has been worthy.

As written by Shalwyn Prasad, we Fijians must acknowledge and respect Ryan’s decision.

We must stand firm to give our blessings to a deserving person if he decides to move on.

If Ben is moving out from one door, he must have something more genuine and useful in his mind to enter through another door.
